The number of who filed for unemployment for the first time last week is expected to increase from 280k to 294k. If the release came as an increase than the dollar might rest a bit before closing. Dollar kept on gaining strength on all majors especially on far-east currencies where AUDUSD is now at 0.87, NZDUSD at 0.79 and USDJPY working hard to break 109.30 support and 110 still in range. Also Gold manage to dive under 1215 strong support and now under 1210 reaching the deep of 1206 at the time of writing this report.
On the other hand if the market surprise everyone with a good number for US unemployment claims than the dollar might gain a new wave on charts pushing majors more down and might push gold toward 1180 historic level.
