According to the New York Mercantile Exchange, futures contracts for gold fell, as they were traded in December at $1642.4 an ounce, it decreased by 0.29%.
Gold has already traded lower session at $1670.00 per ounce.
On the other hand, futures contracts for crude oil rose by 0.25%, to be traded in October at a price of $85.31 a barrel.
It was previously traded at a high of $85.55 a barrel.
US stocks closed lower at the end of trading yesterday, Thursday, as they pull their indices to the downside, this caused a number of losses in sectors especially oil and natural gas.
The Jones Industrial Average ended its trading in New York down by 0.56%, while the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index declined by 1.13%, and the Nasdaq Index fell by 1.43%.
In the Tokyo Stock Exchange, the Nikkei index fell at the beginning of trading on Friday by 0.88% to reach $27631.39, while the Topix index fell by 0.65% to reach $1937.84.
The dollar pair fell against the euro by 0.10% at the time of writing, the same with the dollar against the Australian dollar, which fell by 0.09% at the time of writing.
